About »
Anime is art. Filtering and re-encoding anime should aim to remove the flaws in DVDs that may detract from the viewing experience. By restoring the original framerate, cleaning up visual noise, removing artifacts, and sharpening the details we try to restore the material as close as possible to the original animation. We also include high quality audio tracks in Japanese and English (if available and not utterly terrible), styled subtitles, and convenient chapters. We may not compress files as much as other groups, but we believe that a crystal-clear remaster at less than half the size of the original on-disc format is exactly what the anime community needs.
